I want to introduce you to my friends and their cause.
I have known Matt & Lyndi in excess of a decade, and I cannot say loudly enough how amazing they are both as individuals and as a couple. I have seen them give to other people in need on various ocassions, whether giving their time, their finances or their prayers. I have seen the immensity of their love and their hearts, and now I have been given the cherished privilege to contribute to them, as they have contributed to others.
When Matt and Lyndi began to look into the possibilities surrounding adoption, one of the facts that arose was that many adoptees in most adoption agency facilities have siblings, sisters or brothers who would be left behind in the event that one of the children was adopted. That a family of children would be torn apart broke their hearts, and they began to discuss & pray about the possibility of adopting multiple kids to keep the children together as part of a family unit. After much thought and conversation they decided to adopt up to 3 siblings at once.
This kind of compassion and empathy and desire and willingness is rare indeed, and financially speaking, adopting a child is very expensive. Adopting 3 children…. well, you do the math.
This is my small effort to help Matt and Lyndi, to aid them, support them, to encourage them as they begin the next chapter of their lives. Not only to help them, but also to help 3 children whose names we do not yet know, 3 kids hungry for a family. Would you help me with this?
